What’s in the future for Seattle’s largest remaining forest? That’s up to you! Three chances ahead to talk about it
The Ridge to River Coalition is hosting three events to discuss the future of the West Duwamish Greenbelt, Seattle's largest remaining forest. The events include in-person open houses on November 10 and 17, 2026, in West Seattle and South Park, and a virtual open house on November 19, 2026. At the events, attendees can participate in breakout group sessions, provide input on trail access, safety, stewardship, and cultural connections, and learn about design team responses to community feedback. Food and child care will be offered at the in-person events.
