West Seattle Bike Park proposal, Glassyard Commons ‘satellite encampment’ concerns discussed at HPAC gathering
A meeting of the Highland Park, Riverview, and South Delridge community coalition, HPAC, discussed two topics: the West Seattle Bike Park proposal and concerns about a "satellite encampment" near the Glassyard Commons. Representatives of the bike park organization presented their idea for a dedicated mountain bike facility with features such as a pump track and skills area. The bike park group is exploring potential sites, including Westcrest Park, and seeking community feedback. Concerns were raised about the overflow of people camping near the Glassyard Commons RV site.
