Sound Transit Board Committee Advances Fare Gate Retrofit Program
The proposal would spend $6 million planning and designing fare gates at 14 Link stations, with a future Sound Transit board vote expected to allocate the full $87 million construction cost. The agency expects this targeted gate program to pay for itself within two to three years.
