The only meetings scheduled for this week will be Tuesday's Transportation committee and Thursday's Finance and Budget committee.

The Transportation meeting will deal with the completion of the Burke-Gilman trail and land acquisitions. Also on the agenda is: "Accepting deeds for street and/or alley purposes and easements for sidewalk purposes; establishing, laying off, and widening portions of the following rights-of-way." To see which areas the committee will be discussing, download the full agenda here.

The Finance meeting will discuss: "Authorizing the Fleets and Facilities Department Director to execute a lease agreement with 2915 Fourth LLC, a Washington limited liability company, for office, display and classroom space at 2915 4th Avenue South in Seattle. Presenters: Fleets and Facilities staff; Kieu-Anh King, Council Central Staff." Download the full agenda here.

One is left only to guess what Mayor Greg Nickels is up to. Requests to the mayor's office were unanswered.
